The purpose of this program is to instruct nurses on recent developments in the biopsychosocial aspects of middle-aged men’s health. After you study the information presented here, you will be able to —
Explain male adult and early childhood psychosocial development and the link to middle-age behaviors and psychiatric problems.
Describe the physical, sexual, emotional, and behavioral effects of testosterone on the middle-aged male.
Describe health and psychological risk factors for disease and death for middle-aged men and healthy lifestyles that can mitigate these risks.
